Former Minister and MLA of Sulah, Vipan Singh Parmar, and former Minister and MLA of Jaswan Paragpur, Vinkram Thakur, have issued a joint statement today regarding the gruesome incident and brutal murder in the Saloni area of district Chamba.
Dharamsala, June 19, 2023: Former Minister and MLA of Sulah, Vipan Singh Parmar, and former Minister and MLA of Jaswan Paragpur, Vinkram Thakur, have issued a joint statement today regarding the gruesome incident and brutal murder in the Saloni area of district Chamba. It said that the Congress-led Himachal government remained silent for several days, which has left the residents of Chamba feeling neglected and ignored.
The statement highlights the fact that not a single minister has addressed the inhumanity that occurred in Devbhoomi Himachal Pradesh. No statement has been made to assure the public that those who commit such heinous acts will be brought to justice. The ex-ministers also claim that the government land is in the possession of the murder accused, which the government has failed to address.
The BJP leaders are demanding answers from the Chief Minister. Should the BJP sit quietly at home in such a dire situation, they asked. It is surprising that even after 10 days of the murder; the Chief Minister has not visited the spot. The statement alleges that the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, and Ministers have shown insensitivity towards the victim's family by not offering any kind of help.
The chopped body of Manohar Lal, a resident of Bhandal village, was found in a drain in the Bandal panchayat of Salooni subdivision on June 8, two days after he went missing.
