Congress leader Sudhir Sharma makes comeback to active politics

Dharamshala, November 10, 2019: The Congress under the leadership of state president Kuldip Rathore took out a rally here today, to protest against inflation and unemployment.
Senior party leader and ex-minister Sudhir Sharma made a comeback to the active politics and joined the rally. Sharma was off the public for a quite long time and even avoided the assembly by-election held last month.
Sudhir Sharma’s return has not only surprised the opposition circles, but surprised other Congressmen as well. Few Congress leaders were seen saying that Sudhir’s comeback will now create new equations in the politics of the area.
When the state congress president was addressing the rally, slogans were raised by separate groups in favour of Sudhir Sharma and Vijay Indra Karan who lost on congress ticket last month. And later talking to media, the state president of the Congress said that these slogans were raised only in favour of the Congress party and Congress leaders, which is a good sign and the party is “united”.
On the subject of defeat in the elections, Rathore said that it is being reviewed.
Sudhir Sharma said that congress workers from all over the district reached Dharamshala and organized a successful rally under the leadership of state president Kuldeep Rathore. It is natural, the workers can raise slogans in support of their respective leaders. There is no question of genuine or fake leadership in Congress. “If you are in Congress, you are in and if you are not in Congress, you are not”, said Sudhir Sharma. He added that commenting on social media could bring nothing.
Talking about the recently concluded global investors’ meet at Dharamshala, Sudhir stated that for the first time such a big event has been organized in the state, if the investment really hits the ground then the state will be benefit, but It should be kept in mind that the local people should get more jobs and not just ignored by the investors.
