Ferozepur, March 13, 2018 : Congress MLA from Guruharsahai Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi today welcomed the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh at Guru Ram Dass International Airport in Amritsar. During the brief meeting the MLA also apprised the union minister about the various problems being faced by the border farmers.
It is pertinent to mention here that Rajnath Singh had come to Amritsar to dedicate the statue of martyr Udham Singh to the whole nation. “During the meeting I demanded that the central government should also resume the allowance which was earlier given to them. The union minister assured me that the matter will be solved and every kind of possible help shall be provided to the farmers”, said Rana Sodhi.
