Congress party does not have capacity to take decisions: Anurag Thakur
Dharamsala, October 16, 2021: In an election rally on Saturday in the Fatehpur of Kangra district, the Union Information and Broadcasting and Sports Minister Anurag Thakur said Congress party has failed to choose its national president for the past two years, cannot gain momentum in the country. He added it is clear that the Congress party does not have the capacity to take decisions.
Thakur appealed the people to vote in favour of BJP candidate Baldev Thakur in the Fatehpur assembly by-election
He said, “What may claim the Congress party, the public has ensured the victory of BJP candidates not only in this by-elections, but in all the four by elections by record margin in Himachal.”
He added that BJP has fielded BaldevThakur in the election as a candidate only after analyzing the pulse of the workers.
Thakur said that the Modi government has spent more than Rs.73 thousand crore to combat the Covid-19 virus. About 38 thousand crore rupees were spent for the investigation of corona affected persons, while now every citizen of the country is being provided free Covid-19 vaccine, on which 35 thousand crore rupees are being spent.
“Himachal Pradesh has also developed brilliantly in the last four years, under the leadership of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur”, he said.
People will vote on 30th October to choose MLAs in Fatehpur, Jubble Kotkhai and Arki and MP from Mandi constituency.
On this occasion, Forest Minister Rakesh Pathania, MLA of Nagrota Bangwa Arun Mehra, Jwali MLA Arjun Thakur, former minister Ravinder Singh Ravi, State BJP General Secretary Trilog Kapoor, KCC Bank Chairman Rajiv Bhardwaj, Dharamsala MLA Vishal Naihariya, State BJP's Media in-charge Rakesh Sharma etcand others were present.
