Dharamsala: Dharamsala Block Congress Committee today agitated in Dharamsala and demanded the suspension and arrest of Dharamsala MLA Vishal Nehria for alleged physical and mental harassment of his wife.
Congress also demanded a high level inquiry into the matter.
Two months after wedding, Oshin Sharma (2019 Batch Himachal Administrative Officer) lodged a complaint with police against her husband Vishal Nehria, MLA from Dharamshala on Friday. She accused her husband of physical and mental torture. She also released an 11-minutes video that has gone viral on social media on Friday.
Oshin Sharma alleged that her husband had physically and mentally tortured her several times.
Nehriya and Sharma were married on April 26 this year.
A police official said that MLA Vishal Nehria met SP Kangra and put his statement before him on Saturday.
