Constitution Day celebrated at Innocent Hearts: pledged to maintain the dignity of country
Constitution Day was celebrated with great interest in all the five schools of Innocent Hearts (Green Model Town, Loharan, Cantt.- Jandiala Road, Royal World and Kapurthala Road) to make the students aware of the Constitution of the country.
Jalandhar, November 26, 2022: Constitution Day was celebrated with great interest in all the five schools of Innocent Hearts (Green Model Town, Loharan, Cantt.- Jandiala Road, Royal World and Kapurthala Road) to make the students aware of the Constitution of the country.
As per the instructions of CBSE, students were informed about the Preamble of the Constitution. While reading the Preamble collectively, the students took an oath to uphold the dignity of India as a Sovereign, Socialist, Secular, and Democratic Republic country. They promised to follow the Constitution of the country and to protect the democracy of country. On this occasion, students were made to write a paragraph on 'Our Constitution. A speech competition was organized for the students of grade IX and debate competition was also organized for the students of grades XI and XII. The teachers of Social Science informed the students about the Articles of the Constitution and inspired all the students to protect and respect the constitution.
All the principals of their respective branches explained the role of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in constitution-making and informed them about the facts of the constitution. They mentioned that fundamental rights and fundamental duties are directed in our constitution and both complement each other.
