Ludhiana, October 20, 2012: Avtar Singh, in a statement issued today said that he is contesting election for the post of Chief Executive Officer, Ludhiana Effluent Treatment Society (LETS) to be held on 30th November.
In this context, he has submitted his resignation as Director, LETS to Chairman, LETS/Director of Industries, Punjab.
Singh further informed that he is contesting this election as advised by the Captains of Ludhiana Industry.
He also said that he is highly obliged and grateful to all key industrialists for extending their cooperation and support to him in CEO – LETS election. The name of candidates of his team for the election of other officer bearers of LETS will be announced shortly. He revealed that if elected he will handle the affairs of LETS in a smooth, effective and transparent manner and bring the much needed improvements with the consent of key members.
