Contestant Soyeb’s only enemy on Superstar Singer

Superstar Singer that recently premiered on Sony Entertainment Television has garnered great views and showcased immensely talented singers from various pockets of India. All the contestants under the age of 15 years will be seen competing to win the title of the first season of the show – ‘Singing ka Kal’. During the auditions, 8 years old, Soyeb Ali thrilled the audience with his performance on the song ‘Mere Rashke Kamar’. Belonging to Mewat, Haryana, Soyeb’s ultimate aim to join the show is to beat Captain Salman Ali in singing. To that effect, little Soyeb requested to all judges and quoted, “Put me in any team but not in Salman Ali’s team as I want to compete him.” Hearing this, all the judges; Himesh Reshammiya, Alka Yagnik and Javed Ali were left in splits but at the same time were impressed by the confidence Soyeb brought with him. Soyeb Ali, who has proved himself to be a brilliant singer is now making headlines with his strong talent. While shooting for the auditions, he revealed that his only enemy is Salman Ali as he is his only competition. Salman Ali has been a winner of Indian Idol 10 and now he will be facing some healthy competition by our little contestant. A 8-year-old, who is filled with enthusiasm and willpower to win this show makes his first friendly enemy, captain Salman Ali. While the captain was appalled with the kind of confidence the kid possessed, he was happy that the show will have nothing but talented singers facing each other and the captains who will guide them their way through. A source on the set revealed, “Soyeb Ali was seen having the swag of a talented and an established singer. Challenging a captain of the show where they guide and nourish the contestants to be a better singer is something which takes a lot of guts and confidence. Soyeb Ali is one of them.”
