Convocation for three-month Vocation Course in 'Carpentry'

Chandigarh, September 27, 2024: The   Department   of   Life   Long   Learning   and   Extension, Panjab University (PU) organised convocation for three-month Vocation Course in 'Carpentry' to award the certificates to the successful candidates. 

This course was inaugurated by the PU Registrar Prof. Yajvender Pal Verma, in the month of April, 2024.  As many as 25 participants from PU and surrounding areas were enrolled for the course. 

Lal Chand alongwith some other Instructors taught the participants. It being a practical course, the articles produced by the participants were also exhibited at the convocation.  

PU Registrar Prof. Y.P. Verma awarded the certificates to the successful candidates. Chairperson of Department   of   Life   Long   Learning   and Extension, Dr.   P.S.   Kang informed that the course got successfully completed with the support and collaboration of XEN Office and it was conducted in the workshop of XEN Wing of Panjab   University.   

The   program   was conducted   by   the   department   to   enhance   skill   development   and  
 provide   vocational education   to   the   University,   College   and   School   students   and   Employees   alongwith Community Members. 

Prof. Ajaib Singh, Dr. Gaurav Gaur and Mr. Anil Thakur also attended the convocation program.
