Ferozepur, December 7, 2012: The Ferozepur Cantt police station has registered a case against Deepak Wadhwa son of Jagat Ram, owner of Wadhwa Music Centre, Ferozepur Cantt on the complaint of Harinderpal Sngh, Investigator Indian Music Industry, New Delhi.

Giving this information, Hargopal Singh, SI informed that a case under Sections 181 IPC and 51, 52-A, 63 and 65 under Copy Right Act 1957 (Amended Act 1964 and 1994) at Ferozepur Cantt police station on account of loading of songs in the mobiles through the computer without any authority and license besides selling of pirated CDs.  He further said that a computer set, one mobile chip, card reader and 450 CDs have been recovered on raiding at the Wadhwa Music Centre.

As per the sources, Deepak Wadhawa was arrested and later on, released on bail.
