Mumbai, February 14, 2025: Sony SAB's much-anticipated mythological magnum opus, Veer Hanuman evokes unparalleled devotion! The show explores the incredible journey of Lord Hanuman, from a young boy to his discovery of his superpowers. Featuring a stellar ensemble cast, the show has Arav Chowdharry as Kesari, Sayli Salunkhe as Anjani, Mahir Pandhi in the dual roles of Bali and Sugriv, and the exceptionally talented Aan Tiwari as the young Lord Hanuman. The show is set to captivate audiences not only with its powerful storytelling but also with its breathtaking visual aesthetics.

One of the standout aspects of the show is its intricately designed costumes, which draw inspiration from the exquisite artistry of the Ajanta and Ellora caves. Each ensemble has been meticulously designed to capture the grandeur and authenticity of ancient Indian heritage and bring cinematic magnificence. The costumes feature intricate motifs, exquisite embroidery, and an elaborate colour palette that resonates with the artistic excellence of the murals and sculptures of these iconic caves. By infusing these timeless influences into its costumes, Veer Hanuman not only elevates its visual splendor but also honors and celebrates India’s rich cultural legacy in a truly spectacular fashion.

Speaking about the show’s visual appeal, costume designer Shibapriya Sen said, “Inspired by the breathtaking Ajanta and Ellora caves, each costume reflects the grandeur of ancient times. Our goal was to create attire that not only looks visually stunning but also resonates with historical authenticity. Anjani’s attire features authentic Kanjivaram sarees, crafted from pure South silk sourced from Chennai, while Kesari’s mukut (crown) mirrors India’s ancient mountains and terrains. We hope that every look leaves a lasting impression on viewers, celebrating the timeless beauty of India’s past.”

Sayli Salunkhe, who plays the role of Anjani in Veer Hanuman said, "Portraying Anjani is going to be an incredibly enriching experience, and one of the most beautiful aspects of this show will be the stunning costumes. The look is deeply inspired by the artistic grandeur of the Ajanta and Ellora caves, reflecting the rich heritage of that era. The deep hues of purple and red, adorned with intricate multicolored floral motifs, truly enhance Anjani’s divine and regal aura. Wearing these beautifully designed outfits helps me embody the essence of the character even more."
