Counselling for UG programmes held at UHF Nauni
The first counselling for Undergraduate programmes of Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry (UHF), Nauni was held at the university campus on Thursday. Over 400 students from all over the state, who had scored 50 and above marks in the Under Graduate Entrance Examination (UGEE-2019) held on June 16, had been called for the first counselling. The counselling was held for admission to B Sc (Hons) Horticulture, B Sc (Hons) Forestry and B Tech Biotechnology programmes run by the University. The seats are being offered at the four constituent colleges of the university. The College of Horticulture and College of Forestry are located at the main campus while the College of Horticulture and Forestry (COH&F) is located at Neri in Hamirpur. From this academic session, the B Sc (Hons) Horticulture programme is also being offered at the College of Horticulture and Centre of Excellence in Horticulture Research, Thunag in Mandi district, which is the fourth constituent college of the university. The B Tech Biotechnology programme is only offered at COH&F Neri. The counselling was held at the Dr LS Negi Auditorium of the university where the committee verified all the documents of the students along with taking their preference of course and college. The seat allotment list based on merit will be available put up on the university website on July 6. In addition, the university recently declared the result of its M Sc examination and the counselling will now be spread over two days- July 14 and 15, 2019. On July 14 (Sunday), the candidates falling between Roll No 21001 to 21475 have been called for the counselling while those between 21476 to 21948 will have to report on July 15.
