Covid 19 vaccine available for all people above the age of 45 years: Dr Sukhjeevan Kakkar
Today Surinder Kumar Dawar, MLA got himself vaccinated
Ludhiana: As per the guidelines from State government Covid 19 vaccine is now available for all people who are above the age of 45 years. Punjab government has conducted the process of vaccination in a phased manner. In the beginning health care workers and front line workers were vaccinated. Then, people above the age of 60 were vaccinated and after that beneficiaries of 45-60 years of age were vaccinated who were having any kind of co-morbidities.
On this occasion, Civil surgeon Ludhiana, Dr.Sukhjeevan Kakkar said that anyone above the age of 45 can now take vaccine. Various camps are also being organised by the govt at PHC, Sub centres and Health wellness centre as well. Number of vaccination sites has been increased by the government. He further told that today Mr. Surinder Kumar Dawar, MLA got himself vaccinated in Civil surgeon office, Ludhiana.
Sharing views on this Rajinder Singh, Block Extension Educator Koomkalan said that everyone should get himself/ herself vaccinated as per the schedule. He also said that vaccination drive is going in the State all the seven days of the week and any valid identity proof was considered as valid document for inoculating the eligible person in the State.
