CPI to launch Mass contact programme against Modi government

Ludhiana, August 6, 2018: The Ludhiana city committee meeting of the Communist Party of India (CPI) held under the chair of Com Naval Chhibber Advocate planed the programe to hold rallies in different parts of the city as a part of the nation-wide mass contract programme to expose the failure of Modi government on all fronts.
Party condemned BJP governments conspiracies to split the society in the communal lines with a purpose to garner votes. It is therefore important that a broad alliance is built to over throw this government. The district secretary D P Maur informed that the programme has already been charted out to hold contact programmes in different parts of the district. The unit will hold rallies in Salem Tabri ward no.94 & 95, Shimlapuri, Dugri, Pakhowal Road and Haibowal Khurd continuing till 14th August, said Ramesh Rattan city secretary.
A resolution paying homage to victims of Atomic Bombing at Hiroshima on 6th August 1945 was presented by Dr Arun Mitra. The party demanded that with Imran Khan coming up it is time for India and Pakistan to renew dialogue for lasting peace in the region.
