Chandigarh, January 1, 2019: As it is rightly said by John Burroughs, “To find the universal elements enough; to find the air and the water exhilarating; to be refreshed by a morning walk or an evening saunter... to be thrilled by the stars at night; to be elated over a bird's nest or a wildflower in spring - these are some of the rewards of the simple life”. There are very less people who put visuals into a form of art. Visual art is an art which attracts one’s vision and one that an artist creates. That creation of art gives happiness not only to the artist but also to the viewer. It was very hard to describe what art actually is. Generally, people think that an artist paints the walls & hoardings only. But making them realise the efforts and hard work that an artist puts in. Bringing out the best is Rabani Bhagat, who specialises in miniature style water colour paintings with special interest in painting birds and glimpses of nature. She has earlier exhibited her paintings at The Egg Art Studio, New Delhi, in 2016, to spread awareness about the precarious position of certain species of birds, given the rapid depletion of their habitats.
During her first exhibition in Chandigarh, she exhibited paintings of endangered and rare species of eagles, hornbills, owls and delightful humming birds. While talking to the beautiful soul , she said , “Painting is a meditation in itself. One cannot describe the beauty of art in few or more words. It is beyond description. It is a satisfaction which one can only feel and cannot express in words. One must be thankful if he or she is an artist”.
Surely, the beautiful creations of nature have so much to see and enjoy that describing it is beyond words.
