Chandigarh, February 24, 2016: A 'Home Décor Craft Workshop’ organized today under Elante Wednesday’s, a fun and learn platform created by Elante Mall to engage children & women, turned out to be a huge hit among the tricity audience. The latest edition of Elante Wednesday’s saw home décor experts Ms Kommal Wadhera (an expert textile designer) and Ms Narita Wadhera (an expert interior decorator) conduct an interactive craft workshop, where participants learnt about ways to use day-to-day items and turn them into charming home décor objects.
In the fun and learn workshop held at @home-THE MEGA HOME STORE from 11 AM to 1 PM at Elante Mall, the region’s leading destination for shopping and merrymaking Ms Kommal and Ms Narita taught the participants different ways of beautifying their homes using every day articles. Demonstrating their artistic skills, they showed how one could make use of one’s imagination to design captivating home décor items like decorative glass bottle, glass coaster and painted apron.
During the ‘Home Décor Craft Workshop’, Ms Kommal and Ms Narita gave tips to the participants and answered their questions. The participants were simply amazed to find how items as simple as a glass bottle could be tuned into mesmerizing home décor articles. The enthusiasm of the participants and their creativity was at its peak as they not only came up with some intelligent questions, but also crafted some decorative masterpieces on their own.
“We initiated the concept of Elante Wednesday’s to engage the people of tricity. The idea is to organize fresh and engaging workshops for each session of Elante Wednesday’s and introduce a new and exciting activity every time, where the participants not only have fun but are also able to learn something useful. Todays 'Home Décor Craft Workshop’ could not have come at a better time. With the spring season on, people are all set to welcome the pleasant weather by decking up their homes,” said Mr. Manoj Agarwal, Head of Operations, Elante Mall.
