CSR Initiative: Globe Toyota Distributes Blankets and Heaters to needy

Globe Toyota, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, has set an example worth emulating by helping those in need, to counter the intense cold wave sweeping the region. The corporation distributed 40 blankets and 10 heaters to patients at the Government Civil Hospital, Kurali, District Mohali.

Mohali, Jan 10, 2025: Globe Toyota, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, has set an example worth emulating by helping those in need, to counter the intense cold wave sweeping the region. The corporation distributed 40 blankets and 10 heaters to patients at the Government Civil Hospital, Kurali, District Mohali.

Vivek Datta, Managing Director and CEO of Globe Toyota said, “With temperatures decreasing steadily, the region is experiencing a severe cold wave, posing significant challenges to the underprivileged. The distribution of blankets and heaters is a step towards ensuring comfort and safety for patients and their families during these tough times. We are driven by a philosophy of care and compassion.”

The activity inspired by the vision of Vivek Datta was led by Ashu Misser, Group Head Marketing, Globe Toyota, along with his dedicated team.

Highlighting the importance of the initiative, Dr. Amit Arora from the hospital remarked, “This blankets and heaters will provide much-needed relief to those braving the cold. It will also help the hospital ensure patients' comfort despite the harsh weather.”

The Government Civil Hospital, Kurali, serves many individuals from economically weaker sections of society.
