More than 400 alumni of CT Group attended Virtual Alumni Meet.

Jalandhar: It was the time to rekindle memories, as more than 400 students from different batches of CT Group of Institutions, North Campus Maqsudan and South Campus Shahpur gathered for a virtual Alumni Meet 2020-A Reunion.

Friends, classmates and mentors shared the memories and experiences of their college days. The main objective to organize this mega event was to provide a common e-platform for the passed-out students i.e. CT Alumni, who are settled in different countries, to re-live their moments and cherish the old memories associated with friends, teachers and their educational institutions’ life.

The evening began with a formal welcome by the moderator Kanwarpreet, PRO of CT Group, followed by inspirational words by Chairman Charanjit S Channi, Campus Directors Dr. GS Kalra and Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Dhami. This was followed by live performances by alumni Garry Chaudhary, Jaskarandeep and Sahil. A brief interaction on importance of staying happy was conducted by Amrit Kalsi, HOD, Center of Happiness.

The alumni on prestigious positions shared their success stories. This included names like Baljot Kaur from Pune, Ranjodh Singh from Australia, Amandeep from UAE, Navneet Kaur from Canada, Manupreet Singh from Canada etc.

Baljot Kaur, one of the alumni from the first batch of 2004-08 B.Tech CSE said, “I feel lucky to be a part of CT Group. Whatever I am today, either personally or professionally is just because of the regular guidance of my teachers and friends.”

Another alumnus Ranjodh Singh from Australia shared, “I can describe my journey at CT in one word and ie Amazing. Culturally diverse community, opportunities to explore the worldly interaction with intellectual minds and not to forget co-cultural activities that keeps you on your toes. All this has instilled confidence and achievers’ attitude in me.”

The key attraction remained live Bhangra performance by Bhangra Crew team from Dubai that is owned by one of alumni.
Charanjit S Channi, Chairman, CT Group, Parminder Kaur Channi, Co-Chairperson, Managing Director Manbir Singh and Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh extended their gratitude to the alumni and wished them success for their future endeavours.
CT Group Managing Director Manbir Singh said that this has been one of its kind online events where our alumni especially those who are settled in various corners of globe actively participated which wasn’t possible physically and that too in the time of COVID-19.
