CT Group and SVEEP Jalandhar Organize Voter Awareness Campaign Ahead of Lok Sabha Elections 2024
The Department of Student Welfare at CT Group, in collaboration with SVEEP Jalandhar, organized a voter awareness campaign to promote civic engagement and unity through a Human Chain event at Guru Nanak Mission Chowk. The event saw the participation of over 200 students and staff, with support from the Traffic Police Jalandhar and SVEEP officials.
Jalandhar, May 6, 2024: The Department of Student Welfare at CT Group, in collaboration with SVEEP Jalandhar, organized a voter awareness campaign to promote civic engagement and unity through a Human Chain event at Guru Nanak Mission Chowk. The event saw the participation of over 200 students and staff, with support from the Traffic Police Jalandhar and SVEEP officials.
The Human Chain initiative symbolized unity and collaboration among the participants, who stood shoulder to shoulder to raise awareness about the importance of voting in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. Sh. Jasbir Singh, PCS, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Urban Development) of Jalandhar, Dr. Surjit Lal, Assistant District SVEEP Nodal Officer, and Sat Pal Sodhi, SVEEP Nodal Officer of Jal. Cantt., lent their support to the campaign, emphasizing the significance of active participation in the electoral process.
The Human Chain served as a powerful visual representation of the collective responsibility towards democracy, with participants holding placards and banners to educate the public about the electoral process and the importance of exercising their voting rights.
