Addressing the press conference at Ludhiana on Friday, Dr. Manoj Kumar (Group Director, CT Institutions), Mr. Gaurav Khanna (Head of Public Relations, CT Group of Institutions) and Ms. Shilpa Thapar (Asst. Professor Communication, CT Group of Institutions) said this online contest will provide a golden opportunity to the students to become the drivers of basic change in education world. Students need to give feedback and suggestion about their Dream University on 14 different levels viz- Logo design, Layout design, Academic system, Infrastructure, Central amenities, Evaluation system, Admission system, Value addition centres, Security, Industry linkage, Research & Innovation, Co-curricular/sports activities, Foreign collaboration and Code of conduct.
Addressing the Press Conference, Dr. Manoj Kumar (Group Director, CT Institutions) said, “We believe that value based education can build a great nation and work as an effective tool to strengthen the foundation and status of any society.” With this mission, we are coming up with CT University by 2016 to provide best of the education facilities, Research & Innovation tools, new methodologies of teaching pedagogy and varied opportunities for the students. This contest is a beginning that would help us to get important aspects of the University designed on the perspective of our youngsters.”
The University will have internationally benchmarked curriculum, innovative teaching practises, experimental learning, and foreign tie-ups for equitable and affordable quality education that will establish itself as a Centre of Excellence in Research. Dr. Kumar said that CT University is a dream project of CT Group that gives us a platform to present International Stature academic facilities and benefits to the students. The winner of the contest will be awarded with a prize money of Rs 2 lakh.
