CT Group holds 10-day online Bhangra workshop
More than 100 participants from India, Switzerland, England, UAE, Italy and Canada joined
Jalandhar: Department of Cultural Affairs, CT Group in association with Bhangra Sway Gurugram, an academy which is run by alumnus of CT Group has organised a 10-day long online Live Bhangra workshop. The major objective of this workshop was to diver the minds of people from the pandemic and provides them an online platform to learn Bhangra, in order to remain fit and hearty.
In this workshop, more than 100 participants from India, Switzerland, England, UAE, Italy and Canada joined and had the benefit of the online Bhangra classes. The trainers for the workshop remained Jaskaran Singh, Amit from Bhangra Sway and CT Group Cultural Officer Davinder Singh.
Not only this, in order to give a proper feel, international drummer Ustad Sukhi Dholi took a live dhol session as well. Telling about the workshop, Davinder Singh said, “In order to remain fit, we thought of organizing this workshop and we have received a good response. The trainers trained participants with basic steps along with enhancing their knowledge of history of Bhangra and names of steps etc.”
CT Group Managing Director Manbir Singh congratulated the team effort and appreciated the idea of holding this long workshop.
