CT Group Honors Shaheed Diwas Across Campuses with Patriotic Zeal and Community Service

CT Group of Institutions, North Campus (Maqsudan) and South Campus (Shahpur), collectively commemorated Shaheed Diwas with a series of heartfelt tributes and patriotic activities in honor of the legendary martyrs—Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev—who were executed by the British on this day in 1931. The events reflected the Group’s commitment to remembering the courage, sacrifice, and revolutionary spirit of these national heroes.

Jalandhar, March 22, 2025: CT Group of Institutions, North Campus (Maqsudan) and South Campus (Shahpur), collectively commemorated Shaheed Diwas with a series of heartfelt tributes and patriotic activities in honor of the legendary martyrs—Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, and Sukhdev—who were executed by the British on this day in 1931. The events reflected the Group’s commitment to remembering the courage, sacrifice, and revolutionary spirit of these national heroes.

Both campuses witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and staff in various events organized to pay homage. The highlight of the day was the Turban-Tying Competition, where over 70 students demonstrated their skills in tying traditional turbans, symbolizing Sikh pride and heritage. Sukhdeep Singh secured the first prize of ₹2100, followed by Tanraj Singh with ₹1100, while Nirvair Singh, Prabhjot Singh, and Paramveer Singh received special gifts in recognition of their participation.

In addition, a Poster-Making Competition was held, encouraging students to creatively express their respect for Bhagat Singh and his unwavering commitment to India’s independence.

The NCC and NSS Units of CT Group organized a Rally to honor Shaheed Bhagat Singh. Students marched near Curo Mall, chanting slogans and holding placards that celebrated his ideals.

In collaboration with New Ruby Hospital, CT Group organized a Blood Donation Camp, where students and faculty donated blood generously, embracing the spirit of selfless service. Additionally, the institution facilitated a Free Book Distribution, providing literature on the life, ideology, and philosophy of Shaheed Bhagat Singh to educate and inspire the younger generation.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Manbir Singh, Managing Director of CT Group, expressed, “Today, we bow our heads in respect to the brave hearts who laid down their lives for our nation’s freedom. Their fearless fight against injustice continues to inspire millions.”
