The event brought together distinguished experts from various medical specialties, offering unique perspectives on the ever-evolving field of healthcare.

Jalandhar, October 17, 2023: CT Group of Institutions, South Campus, organized a thought-provoking and enlightening Medical and Healthcare Symposium to promote collaboration and knowledge exchange among Para-medical students. The event brought together distinguished experts from various medical specialties, offering unique perspectives on the ever-evolving field of healthcare.

The symposium commenced with a lamp-lighting ceremony, signifying the illumination of knowledge and wisdom in the realm of medical and healthcare sciences. Dignitaries present included Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman of CT Group of Institutions; Dr. Manbir Singh, Managing Director; Harpreet Singh, Vice Chairman of CT Group of Institutions, who emphasized the importance of the ceremony and extended a warm welcome to all dignitaries and attendees.

Also gracing the occasion were Dr. Gurpreet Singh Sidhu, Campus Director; Dr. Parminder Nain, Dean Academics; Dr. Jasdeep K. Dhami, Director of Research and Planning; Dr. Kuldeep K. Grewal, Director of GNDU Colleges; and the principals of various colleges within CT Group of Institutions. Faculty members and students from the Physiotherapy and Pharmacy departments added to the vibrant gathering.

The highlight of the event was an insightful session by Dr. Harsh Mohan, a distinguished medical expert renowned for his contributions to Pathology. Dr. Mohan is the author of eight textbooks on Pathology, available in multiple editions and translated into Spanish and Slovak languages. He has also been honored with national awards for his outstanding work.

The symposium further featured enlightening talks by medical luminaries, including Dr. SPS Grover from New Ruby Hospital, Jalandhar; Amit, Resident Director at Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Jalandhar; Dr. Naveen Chitkara, a Senior Spine and Neuro Surgeon; Dr. Shubhang Aggarwal from NHS Hospital; Dr. Dipesh Batra, a Brain and Spine Surgeon from DMC; Dr. Balraj Gupta from Rattan Hospital, Jalandhar; Dr. Damanbir Singh Chahal, a Urologist; and Dr. Deepak Chawla, a Laparoscopic Surgeon. The event also benefited from the expertise of a dedicated team from the Rotary Club of Jalandhar Helping Hands.
