CT Group Hosts ‘The Runway 2025’ Fashion Show, Showcasing Innovation and Sustainability
The Department of Fashion Design at CT Group of Institutions, Jalandhar, organized its much-awaited annual fashion show, The Runway 2025, at Sardarni Manjit Kaur Auditorium. The event was a celebration of creativity, innovation, and sustainable fashion, providing a dynamic platform for budding designers to present their unique collections inspired by global trends.

Jalandhar, March 19, 2025: The Department of Fashion Design at CT Group of Institutions, Jalandhar, organized its much-awaited annual fashion show, The Runway 2025, at Sardarni Manjit Kaur Auditorium. The event was a celebration of creativity, innovation, and sustainable fashion, providing a dynamic platform for budding designers to present their unique collections inspired by global trends.
This year’s show featured an impressive lineup of themes, ranging from Wedding Collections, Vintage Goth, Fusion Attire, and Executive Dresses to Eco-Friendly Ensembles. Each collection highlighted the imagination and craftsmanship of the students, who skillfully blended traditional styles with contemporary designs. The runway came alive with vibrant colours, bold concepts, and experimental silhouettes that pushed the boundaries of conventional fashion.
Several awards were presented to recognize outstanding contributions. In the ‘Corporate Dudes’ category, Harsh was awarded Best Model while Parmeet Kaur, a student of B.Sc. Fashion Design Semester 4, won Best Designer. ‘Bharat Ka Libas’ saw Karam Cheema from CTIHM named Best Model, and Sangeeta from B.Sc. Fashion Design Semester 6 was recognized as Best Designer. In the ‘Cute Cuddle’ category, Gunika (UKG) was chosen as Best Model, with Jagriti, Simran, and Urvashi from B.Sc. Fashion Design Semester 2 winning Best Designers. The ‘Vintage Goth’ collection stood out, with Henrick from BTTM Semester 2 as Best Model and Gurleen Kaur from M.Sc. Fashion Design Semester 2 as Best Designer. For ‘Fusion Finesse’, Sangeeta was awarded Best Model, while Bhavan and Himanshu from B.Sc. Fashion Design Semester 6 earned Best Designers. In ‘Sphere of Elegance’, Loveleen Kaur from B.Voc Fashion Design was named Best Model, and Neha from B.Voc Fashion Design received Best Designer. The ‘Beyond Boundaries’ category honoured Prabhsimran with a B.Sc. Fashion Design as Best Model, with Ekampreet and Ekjot from Semester 4 as Best Designers. ‘Eternal Knot’ recognized Nilakshni as the Best Model and Sangeeta as the Best Designer. The evening concluded with the ‘Vintage Goth’ collection being awarded the title of Overall Best Collection.
The event was graced by prominent guests and judges, including Ms Pankaj Thakur, Owner of CKC Studio; Tarveen Kaur, Certified Life Coach and NLP Practitioner; Avneet, Owner of Mehzab Jewellers; and Simran Narula, renowned designer. Their presence added glamour and industry insight to the show, as they observed the students' creativity and innovation firsthand.
Co-Chairperson, Parninder Kaur; Dr Manbir Singh, Managing Director of CT Group; Tanika Channi, Joint Managing Director; Divoy Chhabra, Principal; and Deepika Miglani, Head of the Fashion Design Department at CTIHM, also attended the show. They praised the participants for their dedication and emphasized the importance of such events in developing practical skills, fostering industry connections, and preparing students for successful careers in fashion.
