CT Group of Institutions student Entrepreneurs of Fashion Designing organized ‘Hastkalaa’16’

Jalandhar, May 7, 2016: The One-day exhibition-cum-sale “Hastkalaa” organized by the department of Fashion Designing concluded successfully at their Shahpur campus of CT Group of Institutions.

There was a wide variety of designer Suits, Kurtis, Sarees, Costume Jewellery, File Folders, Batik Wall Hangings, Bags, Bed Sheets, Cushions, Towel Sets and many more attractive handicraft items. This exhibition displayed the creations of immensely talented students.

The exhibition-cum-Sale invited an overwhelming response and people bought attractive items which were reasonable prized.
Dr. Rohit Sarin (Director, CTIHM) congratulated the Department of Fashion Designing for the remarkable initiative. He averred that this opportunity gives the right kind of exposure to the budding artists and grooms them into successful entrepreneurs. He said, “The students earned the profit of more than Rs 50,000 at the event. This profitable earned amount would boost them for their entrepreneurial career ahead. “

Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions) said that such events are a platform for students to recognize and utilize their skills in identifying opportunities and creating innovative business models. This initiative is about students, their choices and actions in starting, taking over or running a business. He said, “We at CT Group of Institutions provides opportunity to students’ to turn an idea into business or a business into success and will help them to build confidence to take risk and taste the independence of entrepreneurship.”
