Jalandhar, February 3, 2022: CT Group of Institutions, North Campus, Maqsudan in association with District Administration organized a seminar on ‘Election Awareness’. It was organized with the purpose of bolstering voter awareness among the general public, especially the young electors.
At the beginning of the seminar, ADC Ashika Jain (IAS Officer) talked about how all polling stations will be equipped with Covid-mitigation facilities including sanitizers and masks and all election staff will be doubly-vaccinated and will also be eligible for a precautionary third dose.
Assistant Commissioner Ojasvi Alankar (IAS officer) emphasized the need to encourage the youth to vote and also, he quoted that this time youth can change the entire future of government. Head Counselor Voter Awareness Campaign Surjit Lal talked about the official website and other government applications where different facilities like creating new voter ID, or any kind of updating in existing voter ID can easily be done. He concluded the whole seminar with some motivational quotes on voting.
At the end of the seminar, Campus Director Dr. Yogesh Chhabra honored the guests with a token of appreciation.
