CT Group Maqsudan’s Research team develops UVC Disinfectant Robot
Navdeep Singh and Harkirat Singh from CT Group Maqsudan who developed a UVC Disinfectant Robot.

Jalandhar: The research team of CT Group of Institutions, North Campus (Maqsudan), including Navdeep Singh, Assistant Professor (ECE), CTITR and Harkirat Singh, HOD (Mechanical Engineering) has developed a UVC Disinfectant Robot. This invention is based on ULTRAVOILET - C light which deactivates the DNA of bacteria, virus and other pathogens and thus destroys their ability to multiply and cause disease.
Sharing more about this development, Harkirat Singh said, “This robot can be used to sanitize the living areas such as classrooms, offices, party halls, living rooms, corridors etc through its 360 degree disinfecting technology. It kills 99.9  bacteria by exposing UVC light within minutes.  It is an application based wifi controlled device that is operated using Smartphone’s.”
Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Dhami, Director CT Group of Institutions, North Campus (Maqsudan) appreciated the efforts of team members and encouraged them to perform more research based activities in future also.
