Jalandhar, September 26, 2024: CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur and Maqsudan, celebrated World Tourism Day with the theme ‘Tourism and Peace’. Organized by the Departments of Travel & Tourism and Hotel Management, the event showcased cultural diversity and unity through various performances and activities.
Students represented over 20 countries, including India, the USA, Australia, Sri Lanka, Canada, Pakistan, and the UAE, highlighting travel-worthy destinations. The Hotel Management Department presented an array of international cuisines. The event featured a vibrant modeling show, traditional dances, a quiz competition on global tourism, and a powerful theatrical act addressing women's safety in tourism.
Esteemed guests and industry representatives emphasized tourism's role in fostering peace and cultural exchange. Dr. Raman Gautam, Campus Director, Dr. Jayant Vats, Director Admissions, and Divoy Chhabra, Principal, CTIHM, commended the departments. A video message from Dr. Manbir Singh, Managing Director of CT Group, further celebrated the event's success.
