CT Group Organises Seminar Under Punjab Govt Campaign “War Against Drugs – Yudh Nasheyan De Virudh”
Committed to fostering a healthy and drug-free society, CT Group of Institutions organised a seminar on Drug De-addiction under the Punjab Government’s campaign “War Against Drugs – Yudh Nasheyan De Virudh.” The seminar was conducted in collaboration with the Police Commissionerate of Jalandhar, District Administration Jalandhar, and Dishadeep NGO.

Jalandhar, March 17, 2025: Committed to fostering a healthy and drug-free society, CT Group of Institutions organised a seminar on Drug De-addiction under the Punjab Government’s campaign “War Against Drugs – Yudh Nasheyan De Virudh.” The seminar was conducted in collaboration with the Police Commissionerate of Jalandhar, District Administration Jalandhar, and Dishadeep NGO.
The event aimed to spread awareness about the dangers of substance abuse, rehabilitation options, and preventive measures to help students make informed choices and contribute to a drug-free Punjab.
The keynote speaker for the session, Dr. Tanya, an expert from the Drug De-addiction Centre, Jalandhar, shed light on the alarming rise in substance abuse among youth and the importance of early intervention. She emphasized how awareness, counseling, and timely support can help curb this growing menace.
Additionally, Lion SM Singh, Founder and Chief of Dishadeep NGO, shared valuable insights on the psychological, social, and legal aspects of drug addiction, stressing the need for community-driven initiatives to tackle the issue at its root.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Arjan Singh, Dean of Student Welfare, CT Group, stated, “Youth are the backbone of our society. It is our responsibility to guide them towards a healthy and purposeful life. CT Group is dedicated to not only imparting quality education but also ensuring the overall well-being of its students.”
