CT Institute of Hotel Management organized Wine Training Tasting in association with Sula vineyards.
Jalandhar, November 15, 2022: CT Institute of Hotel Management organized Wine Training Tasting in association with Sula vineyards.
Mukesh Regional Head (Punjab) Sommelier from Sula Vineyards .trained the students on the manufacturing process used in the making of wines and also enlightened the students on foods that go well with different types of food. In wine-tasting sessions, he taught the faculty members and students about the importance of 5’S See, Swirl, Sniff, Sip, and Savor. The tasting session was conducted for 3 different types of wines Red, White, and Sparking wine. Mr. Amit Kaura from Whiskeypedia participated with great enthusiasm and appreciated the efforts of the CTIHM under the aegis of the CT group in imparting Wine education to the Hotel management students.
Dr.Manbir Singh, Managing Director CT group of the Institution thanked Sula Vineyards for organizing this session and enlightening the faculty members as well as students on various aspects of Wines.
Divoy Chhabra Vice-Principal of CT Institute of Hotel Management said that these workshops offer the fundamental knowledge that an individual needs to describe the key characteristics of a wine or spirit and assess its quality which helps in building a strong foundation for Food and Beverage.
