CT Group organizes an inter-house fashion show competition

Jalandhar, December 13, 2022: The stage was set on fire when young models from different departments walked the ramp in an inter-house fashion show competition held at CT Group of Institutions, South campus. The teams from Fashion Designing participated in a fashion show based on an indo-western, HIP-Hop Club, Ocean & Real, Punjabi Vibes, Dewani Mastani, Vadhu Collection theme.
The teams were judged by a panel of 2 judges namely designers Shelja, and radio mirchi content leader Kanwarpreet Singh. They judged the teams on the basis of various parameters like choreography, looks, attire, walk, etc. The Best Model Award Goes to Jaspreet, Aashmeen, Manpreet, Ravya Kashyap,Jasmeet, Partiksha and the best designer award goes to Sangeeta,Partiksha and Bhavana.
Besides competition, the key highlight also remained Five rounds of traditional, kids, and western wear, designed by the students of the Department of Fashion Design. They were also being judged and the best models and designers were given tags for the same. CT Musical Society gave live performances. They mesmerized the audience with their numbers and the makeup partner for the event was LAKME Jalandhar.
Present on the occasion were CT Group Co-Chairperson Parminder Kaur Channi, Managing Director Dr. Manbir Singh, Campus Director Dr. Gurpreet Singh, Director Research Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Dhami, Dy Director Division of Student Welfare Nittan Arora, CTIHM Principal Divoy Chabra along with staff and students.
Manbir Singh, Managing Director congratulated the winning and applauded the efforts of participating students for showcasing their fashion skills. He further encouraged fashion design students to their beautiful designs made under their academic performance.
