CT Group organizes Innovative Pedagogy Week
Department of Business Management, South Campus, Shahpur organized “Innovative Pedagogy Week” to involve students in different learning modes.
Jalandhar, February 21, 2023: Department of Business Management, South Campus, Shahpur organized “Innovative Pedagogy Week” to involve students in different learning modes. This week was full of gamified and innovative learning and knowledge attainment. The teaching fraternity of the department used various teaching styles, viz. “Gamified learning”, “Role Plays”, “Industrial Visits”, “AD-MAD Show”, “Extempore”, “Visual case studies”, “Corporate quizzes”, “Peer to Peer learning”, “ Survey” and many more are considered. This initiative has been taken by the department to increase the level of participation of the students in the learning process and also to convey to them what is the practical application of their management studies in the field of their workplace and businesses.
Dr. Gurpreet Singh, Director of Campus, appreciated the efforts of students to learn in a different way and channel their reasoning and logic power which would help them to inculcate this learning in their careers.
Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Dhami- Director of Innovation and Research said students of the present time are totally different from the generations of the past, as with the increase in digital reach and new subjects introduced, they need to be engaged in the studies and should be encouraged to implement these holistic values and knowledge at their personal and personnel level.
Nittan Arora- Head of the Department and Deputy Director Division of Student Welfare, focused on the fact, during covid-19, the learning level of the students decreased due to the physical classroom system and it is important that these youngsters must be engaged in different ways to enhance their concentration level and rising a desire of learning something new all the time.
