Jalandhar, November 14, 2023: CT Group recently hosted a special ceremony to honor local farmers who refrained from stubble burning, showcasing their dedication to environmental conservation. The esteemed recipients hailed from nearby regions, including Village Loharan, Village Chiiti, Bolina Doaba, and Village Jaitowal.
The recognized farmers, Bhupinder Banger (Sarpanch, Village Loharan), Ramesh Lal (Village Chiiti), Hari Singh (Village Jaitowal), Kulwinder Banga (Sarpanch, Bolina Village), and many others were lauded for their exemplary efforts in adopting sustainable agricultural practices that contribute to reducing air pollution.
The ceremony was held in the presence of the Chairman of CT Group, Charanjit Singh Channi; Managing Director, Dr. Manbir Singh; Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh; Additional Director of Admissions, Dr. Vaneet Thakur; and Dean of Student Welfare, Dr. Arjan, was a heartfelt acknowledgment of the farmers' crucial role in supporting environmental causes.
