CT Group signs MoU with ASSOCHAM

Jalandhar: CT Institute of Architecture & Planning, South Campus, Shahpur signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ASSOCHAM, the oldest apex chamber of India that has started its endeavour of value creation for Indian industry in 1920.
It has taken a Green Initiative to care for the Mother Earth and executes this “GEM Sustainability Certification Program”. This Green and Eco-friendly Movement is designed for the sustainable design and development of the buildings and related developments and CT Group stands tall with ASSOCHAM. The Memorandum of Understanding signed is the beginning of a long-term partnership which will strengthen the cooperative statistical and academic pursuits.

For the same, a webinar was organised that was attended by the speakers from ASSOCHAM GEM Green Building Council namely Pankaj R. Dharkar, National Chairman, ASSOCHAM National Council for GEM; Ar. Vijay Garg, Past President, CoA and Joint Chairman, ASSOCHAM GEM Trainings and Development Committee; Ar. Surinder Bahga, Chairman, ASSOCHAM GEM Punjab Chapter; Sandeep Narang, Co-Chair, Students Activities Committee, ASSOCHAM GEM Green Building Council along with CT Group officials namely CT University Vice Chancellor Dr. Harsh Sadawarti; CT Group Director Dr. GS Kalra etc.
They talked about ASSOCHAM goal to invigorate an effective investment environment in the country. The objective of this webinar was to promote communication and information exchange between the organizations and their respective members through different modes. It is aimed at promoting “Green Architecture”.

CT University Vice Chancellor Dr. Harsh Sadarwati gave informative highlights on the milestones achieved by CT University as well as CT Group and further gave them assurance about the collaboration. Dr.GS Kalra spread light on significance of MoU and how this will mark a important milestone, for CT Group (CTIAP) and ASSOCHAM. This will help to organize training, educational seminars and other educational activities and there will be mobilizing participations of students and members in each program.

Ar. Shruti H Kapur, Principal (CT Institute of Architecture and Planning) said this interaction will provide holistic development of students and would help them to know the practical implication in the field work. Online interaction helped to gain a more profound understanding of Space and Interior designing.
