Jalandhar, March 2, 2024: In response to a recent altercation at CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur Campus, a comprehensive investigation has been launched by a specially formed committee, including both internal management and police authorities. The incident, which involved a group of students, prompted immediate intervention to ensure the safety and well-being of all stakeholders within the campus.

The altercation, which occurred on 29 February 2024 at around 3:00 pm, required the prompt involvement of management and law enforcement to diffuse tensions and investigate the root cause of the disagreement. The Vice Chairman of CT Group, Harpreet Singh, reassured the community that the situation is being handled with precision and a commitment to uncovering the truth.

Dean of Student Welfare, Dr. Arjan, reiterated this commitment by assuring the CT Group community that the initial investigation has resulted in the suspension of 14 students on valid grounds. With these measures in place, both the campus and hostel are now declared secure, underscoring the institution's unwavering dedication to maintaining a safe and conducive environment for all its members.

To ensure a thorough examination of the incident, a committee comprising competent heads from the institution has been formed. This committee, in collaboration with deputed police forces, is diligently reviewing CCTV footage to gain insights into the incident and identify those responsible for the disturbance.

As a result of the initial findings, 14 students have been suspended pending further investigation. The institution maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of violence or misconduct, and additional actions will be taken if any further individuals are found guilty.
