CTIEMT proudly hosted the IKG PTU Youth Festival North Zone, a grand celebration on the theme of Rangla Punjab. The opening ceremony, which witnessed an impressive gathering of over 700 enthusiastic students, marked the beginning of a truly memorable event.

Jalandhar, October 25, 2023: CTIEMT proudly hosted the IKG PTU Youth Festival North Zone, a grand celebration on the theme of Rangla Punjab. The opening ceremony, which witnessed an impressive gathering of over 700 enthusiastic students, marked the beginning of a truly memorable event.


The festival showcased a diverse range of activities, including Giddha, One Act Play Quiz, Literary Events, Group Shabad, Classical Vocal, Clay modeling, and much more. It was an incredible display of talent and the spirit of unity.


Students from 70 esteemed colleges across the North Zone, encompassing regions such as Kapurthala, Gurdaspur, and Amritsar, participated in the festivities.


Member of Parliament Sushil Kumar Rinku and Assistant Director of IKG PTU's Department of Cultural and Youth Affairs Sameer Sharma brought an aura of distinction to the event as chief guest. Alongside other dignitaries, they illuminated the ceremony by lighting the lamp, and Member of Parliament Sushil Rinku led a solemn oath against drug abuse in his address.


In his welcome address, CT Group's Managing Director, Dr Manbir Singh, highlighted the importance of such events in shaping the nation's future leaders.


Dignitaries who graced the event with their presence included  Co-Chairperson of CT Group, Parminder Kaur; Vice Chairman CT Group, Harpreet Singh; Core Team Member of CT Group, Tanika Channi; Director of Campus, Dr. GS Sidhu; Director of Research and Planning, Dr. Dhami; Deputy Director of Student Welfare at CTU, Davinder Singh; and the Dean of Student Welfare, Dr Arjan Singh.


Member of Parliament Sushil Rinku commended the festival, saying, "Events like the IKG PTU Youth Festival North Zone play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our youth. They provide a platform for talent to flourish and instill in students a sense of purpose and responsibility."
