CT Institute of Higher Studies Hosts Insightful Cupping Therapy Workshop
The Department of Physiotherapy at CT Institute of Higher Studies, in collaboration with resource person Dr. Rishabh Arora, recently organized a workshop on Cupping Therapy. Dr. Arora, an accomplished expert holding impressive qualifications in various fields, shared his vast knowledge and experience in the domain. The event drew participants from various institutions, including CTU Ludhiana, DAV, Lyallpur Khalsa College, and on-campus students.
Jalandhar, September 27, 2023: The Department of Physiotherapy at CT Institute of Higher Studies, in collaboration with resource person Dr. Rishabh Arora, recently organized a workshop on Cupping Therapy. Dr. Arora, an accomplished expert holding impressive qualifications in various fields, shared his vast knowledge and experience in the domain. The event drew participants from various institutions, including CTU Ludhiana, DAV, Lyallpur Khalsa College, and on-campus students.
The workshop commenced with a ceremonial lamp lighting, graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Dr Manbir Singh, Managing Director CT Group; Tanika Channi, Core team member, CT Group; Dr. Gurpreet Singh, Director Shahpur Campus; Dr. Parminder Singh Nain, Dean Academics; Dr. Kuldeep Kaur Grewal, Director of GNDU Colleges; Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Dhami, Director of Research and Planning; Dr. Seema Arora, Principal of CTIHS; and Dr. Arun, Head of the Physiotherapy Department, alongside other physiotherapy faculty members.
Dr. Arora skillfully guided the young physiotherapists through various aspects of Cupping Therapy, including fire cupping, dynamic cupping, gliding cupping, and traditional bamboo cupping. Participants found the workshop to be exceptionally informative and practical.
Dr. Manbir Singh, Managing Director of CT Group, and Ms. Tanika Singh also graced the workshop with their presence. They encouraged the eager learners to continue their pursuit of knowledge and skills. In recognition of Dr. Arora's invaluable contribution to the field and his services to humanity, they presented him with tokens of gratitude.
