Jalandhar, January 3, 2025: The Department of Physiotherapy at CT Institute of Higher Studies (CTIHS) successfully organized a workshop titled “Clinical Hands-On Introduction to Ventilators”.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty and students, as it delved into one of the most critical aspects of healthcare – ventilatory support.

The workshop was honored by the presence of Dr. Bhupinder Singh Tomar, Principal, CTIPS, and was led by Dr. Arun, Head of the Department of Physiotherapy, along with his dedicated faculty team.

The workshop featured eminent speakers, Dr. Abhishek Kumar (MBBS, MD Anesthesiology) and Dr. Vikas Chawla (MBBS, MD Anesthesiology), who provided an in-depth exploration of ventilator mechanisms, covering both invasive and non-invasive systems. Through real-time demonstrations and practical exercises, participants gained hands-on experience, enhancing their understanding and confidence in handling ventilators in clinical settings.

Dr. Abhishek Kumar remarked, “In today’s healthcare environment, the ability to understand and operate ventilators is a critical skill for physiotherapists.”
