CT Institute of Law organizes Departmental Moot Court Competition

Jalandhar, December 2, 2022: CT Institute of Law organized the Intra Departmental Moot Court Competition at their Moot Court Room. Adv.Harjeet Singh member of District Bar Association Jalandhar attended the Inaugural Function as the Chief Guest. Moot Court competition is very important for law students as it enhances the ability, way of approach and thinking capabilities of the students as they prepare themselves to be part of the judicial system in the near future, also added that Moot court competition enables students to have an inkling of the court proceedings once they pass out from their universities, it also enhances the overall development of an individual, to apply the knowledge one has acquired throughout their courses.
BA.LL.B. and B.COM.LL.B IX semester participated in it. Each team had 3 participants (2 mooters and 1 researcher). Gurpinder Kaur, Manpreet Kaur, Harsharan Kaur. Team no A were the Winners, team no- C Sapna, Shefali, Samriti were declared as the First Runner Up and Team no. D. Ramneek Kaur, Harbhajan Singh, Ishwinder Singh were declared as the Second Runner Up. 

Adv Ravish Malhotra, Adv. Vikram Sharma,  Speaking on the occasion, Advocates stated that it was their privilege to be part of the Intra Departmental Moot Court Competition they encouraged the students and stated that winning and losing are both very temporary things .At last the title for the Best Mooter was bagged by Mansi student of B.Com LLB semester-IX.
