CT Institute of Law Organizes Intra-Departmental Moot Court Competition
The Department of Law at CT Group successfully organized an Intra-Departmental Moot Court Competition, providing law students with a platform to develop advocacy skills, legal reasoning, and courtroom expertise. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, offering students the opportunity to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical litigation experience.

Jalandhar, March 26, 2025: The Department of Law at CT Group successfully organized an Intra-Departmental Moot Court Competition, providing law students with a platform to develop advocacy skills, legal reasoning, and courtroom expertise. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, offering students the opportunity to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical litigation experience.
A distinguished panel of judges presided over the competition, including Shri Jasvir Singh Kang, Retired Additional District & Sessions Judge and former Chairman of Permanent Lok Adalat, Advocate G.K. Agnihotri, Member of the Disciplinary Committee of the Bar Council of Punjab & Haryana, Advocate Ram Chhabra, Senior Vice President, Advocate Suraj Partap Singh, Junior Vice President, Advocate Rohit Gambhir, Secretary, Senior Advocate Amarjit Singh Shergill, Advocate Pyara Ram, Advocate Harman Kaur, Advocate Rohit Sharma, and Advocate Jatesh Gautam.
The competition saw students present well-researched arguments with confidence and clarity, showcasing their legal acumen and courtroom etiquette. The esteemed judges commended the participants for their dedication, preparation, and persuasive advocacy. The first position was secured by the appellant team consisting of Manraj Kaur, Deepawali, and Jashanpreet Singh, while the respondent team included Baljot Kaur, Sunidhi, and Amandeep Kaur. The second position was awarded to the appellant team of Arshnoor Kaur, Ekjot Kaur, and Ayush Khurana, along with the respondent team of Bhavana, Kirandeep Kaur, and Sakshi Dharwal. The third position was claimed by the appellant team of Muskan Thakur, Kamaljeet Kaur, Harpreet Kaur, and Kirandeep Kaur, while the respondent team included Geetika Rajput, Gagandeep Kaur, and Cinthiya.
Present at the event were Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman, CT Group, Dr. Nitin Tandon, Executive Director, and Dr. Manavpreet Kaur Dhindsa, Principal of CT Institute of Law, who extended their appreciation to the participants and encouraged them to continue excelling in legal advocacy.
