Jalandhar, October 22, 2024: CT Public School hosted the Sahodaya Fireless Cooking Competition, which saw participation from over 35 CBSE schools across the region. The event began with a Green Welcome, symbolizing the school’s commitment to sustainability, followed by the ceremonial Lighting of the Lamp.

The competition included students from grades 9 to 12 who prepared various fireless dishes. The event provided a platform for students to showcase their culinary expertise and emphasized the importance of healthy cooking techniques that do not require fire.


The culinary creations of the participants were evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges, including Chef Sunny Katoch, Executive Chef at Golden Tulip, and Chef Manoj, Sous Chef at ITC Fortune.

Dr. Abhishek Tripathi, Vice-Chancellor of CT University, graced the occasion with an inspiring interactive session that engaged the students and motivated them to embrace creativity and teamwork.

LA Blossom School from South City was declared the winner, followed by Innocent Hearts School in second place and DIPS Karol Bagh in third. DIPS Kapurthala received a consolation prize for their efforts. The competition emphasized the values of teamwork, innovation, and culinary creativity.

The Principal and Vice Principal of CT Public School congratulated the winners and expressed appreciation to all the participating schools.
