CT Public School students pay homage to CRPF martyrs
Jalandhar, February 15, 2019: Students of CT Public School paid a tribute to 44 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel who were killed during a deadliest attack yesterday at Awantipora in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district by performing silent prayers during morning assembly and by holding a candle light march. Patriotic songs reflecting the relentless efforts of the jawans reverberated in the assembly. The soul stirring and motivational song, “E mere watan ke logo” was sung with passion. Students held various placards mentioning slogans like “Sacrifice of Jawans should not go in vain”; “Black Day for India”; and “Rest in Peace” etc. Manbir Singh, Managing Director, CT Group expressed his concern over this deadly and sad attack and said, “We strongly condemn this terrorist attack and offers deepest condolences to the families of the soldiers who lost their lives. We appeal to the central government to find a lasting solution to these problem.The sacrifices of our brave security personnel should not go in vain.”
