CT Public School students visit Rail Coach Factory
An industrial visit was organized for the commerce students of CT Public School to the Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala.
Jalandhar, July 21, 2022: An industrial visit was organized for the commerce students of CT Public School to the Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala. The visit was aimed at letting the students to get the insight of all the principles and techniques, employed into the making of state-of- the-Art Indian Railway coaches. The visit was attended by more than 30 students of Commerce under the supervision of faculty Rajni.
The official named Rajesh toured the students through the different shops viz. the sheet metal shop, steel shop, painting shop, shell shop, wagon shop and the furnishing shop. During the visit, the students were benefitted by the demonstration of 22 axis Laser cutting and welding machine, plasma profile cutting machine, cut to length machine etc. and the other latest, state of the art robotic welding and painting techniques.
Telling about the same, CTPS Principal Daljeet Rana and Vice Principal Sukhdeep Kaur said, “These industrial visits are quite important for the overall grooming and understanding of students. During this visit, they also exchanged the views with the technical experts of the Rail Coach Factory in which technical experts informed the students about the coaches for the various countries like Bangladesh and Sri-Lanka are also manufactured in the same factory.”
