CT UNIVERSITY ANNOUNCES RS 11 CRORE COVID-19 ‘FINANCIAL AID WARRIOR SCHOLARSHIP’
The scholarship is announced for the wards of doctors, para-medical staff, sanitation workers, media persons and police personnel
Ludhiana: Where the whole world is under the pandemic, CT University extends its hands for educational front by announcing a Rs. 11 Crore scholarship ‘COVID-19 Financial Aid Warrior’ for the wards of frontline warriors consisting Doctors, Nurses, Para-medical staff, Police, Banking, Civic staff, farmers, state and central government employees who are working day and night to protect our nation directly or indirectly.
Understanding this selfless work of combatants, CT University is pleased to reward their devotion by offering Scholarship worth INR 11 Crore to support the wards of these workers in the all regular programmes offered for Academic session 2020-21. The special Scholarship will be awarded during the whole duration the programme.
The policy for COVID-19 scholarship would be that CTU will provide Scholarship in all the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes by offering top 5% bracket programme and the Scholarship will be applicable on all the students at PAN India level. Further, the process to apply will be available on our official website.
Announcing the scholarship, CTU Chancellor Charanjit S Channi, said, “The various troops are superheroes that are dedicating their lives and saving the entire nation by working hard around the clock. We can thank them by taking care of the future of their children on educational front and the COVID-19 Financial Aid Warrior Scholarship is a small step dedicated to the heroes.”
