CT University celebrates Lohri with great fervour

Ludhiana, January 12, 2023: CT University’s Department of Student Welfare organised Lohri celebrations for the faculty. With bonfire, folk songs, bhangra and games and DJ party for faculty celebrated Lohri. The main attraction of the event is Potluck Lunch in which every faculty member made different dish and enjoyed the meal together.
Davinder Singh, Deputy Director, Department of Student Welfare, said “Lohri is celebrated before the arrival of warmer weather and Harvesting Season, is a way to spread the joy amidst songs, dance and food. “
Dr. Manbir Singh, Pro Chancellor, CT University Said “It is important to keep our traditions alive and Lohri is one of those traditional festivals which is celebrated together by communities.”
Hon’ble Chancellor Charanjit Singh Channi, Pro Chancellor Dr. Manbir Singh, Vice Chancellor (off.) Dr. Satish appreciated the efforts of the team and wished everyone a Happy Lohri.
On this Occasion, Chancellor Charanjit Singh Channi, Pro Chancellor Dr. Manbir Singh, Vice Chancellor (off.), Dr. Satish; Director, Brand Development and Marketing, Sahil Kapoor ; Reserch Director from CT Group Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Dhami, all the Deans, Heads of Schools and whole faculty of CT University were present.
