CT University celebrates the 555th Prakash Purab of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji with a 3-day 'Akhand Path’
CT University recently commemorated the 555th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji with a three-day celebration. The event, organized by faculty and students, aimed to honor the teachings and legacy of the first Sikh Guru.
Ludhiana, November 22, 2024: CT University recently commemorated the 555th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji with a three-day celebration. The event, organized by faculty and students, aimed to honor the teachings and legacy of the first Sikh Guru.
The celebrations began with a vibrant Nagar Kirtan, winding its way from Gurudwara to the university campus. Upon reaching the campus, the Akhand Path, a continuous recitation of the Guru Granth Sahib, was initiated, setting the tone for the three-day spiritual journey.
Throughout the three days, the university campus was transformed into a hub of devotional activities and community service. Students and faculty members actively participated in various events, including recitations of Gurbani hymns, soulful kirtan performances, and thought-provoking life stories of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The university also made elaborate arrangements for the well-being of all attendees, providing complimentary meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
