Ludhiana, October 16, 2024: CT University recently hosted a Dandiya night, organized by the Department of Management Studies and powered by the Department of Student Welfare. The event was a celebration of traditional Indian culture, featuring vibrant colors, energetic folk dances and a festive atmosphere.

The theme for the Dandiya night was "Traditional Attire," encouraging participants to dress in their ethnic wear. To add to the festive ambiance, the university set up a photo booth where students could capture memorable moments with their friends and family. A live DJ kept the crowd entertained with a mix of popular Bollywood and traditional folk songs, creating an electrifying atmosphere. The Dandiya night also featured exciting activities such as a lucky draw, delicious food stalls, and fun-filled games. The lucky draw offered participants a chance to win exciting prizes, adding to the excitement and anticipation of the event.

The highlight of the evening was the presence of renowned guest performers, Bindya Sood from the Bindya Sood Dance Academy and Suman Raj from Saroj Khan's Dancing Spirits Academy. Vice Chancellor Dr. Abhishek Tripathi, Dean Academics Dr. Simranjeet Kaur Gill and Director, Department of Student Welfare Davinder Singh expressed their gratitude to the students, faculty, and staff for their enthusiastic participation and support.
