Ludhiana, October 18, 2024: CT University celebrated World Students' Day with activities organized by various student clubs under the aegis of the Department of Student Welfare.

The day started with intra-university debate competition that saw enthusiastic participation from students across different department. The winners of the competition were Gousia Baig, Shivam and Sidrah from the School of Law showcasing their oratory skills and critical thinking abilities.

Donation drive was also organized where students generously contributed essential items to local charities. The initiative highlighted the students' dedication to social responsibility and compassion. A legal awareness camp was held to educate students about their legal rights and duties. Experts from the legal field conducted informative sessions, empowering students with knowledge about their rights and responsibilities as citizens. The event also featured sports activities, dance performances, and singing competitions, providing a platform for students to showcase their talents.

As quoted by Pro Chancellor Dr. Manbir Singh, the students showcased their talent, enthusiasm, and social consciousness, making the World Students' Day celebration a memorable occasion for all involved.

The celebrations were graced by the presence of Vice Chancellor Dr. Abhishek Tripathi, Dean Academics Dr. Simranjeet Kaur Gill and Director, Department of Student Welfare Davinder Singh.
