Ludhiana: CT University, under the ‘Menstrual Hygiene Committee for Women’ has started a campaign by encouraging women to give the gift of menstrual health, hygiene and dignity. On this note, the staff members have distributed free sanitary pads to females in and around the campus.

Telling about it, Principal School of Law, Dr Simranjeet Kaur Gill said, “Recent studies say that no access to menstrual hygiene is the fifth biggest killer of women in the world. Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, Vice Chancellor said, “It’s a very significant initiative taken because without the protection of women, life cannot work in a proper manner and by providing sanitary napkins to ladies who cannot afford is a step taken in the need of hour. Under this campaign we will reach to maximum numbers of ladies and will contribute our bit in making their life healthier and better.”
