Ludhiana, April 23, 2024: Following its commitment to fostering civic engagement and awareness among its students, CT University organized an 'Election Awareness Camp’.
The event, spearheaded by the Department of Student Welfare, aimed to educate students about the significance of their vote and the broader political landscape of the country. The session covered pivotal topics such as 'Your Vote Counts,' 'Vote for a Better India,' and 'Know Your Vote,' enlightening students about the importance of active participation in the democratic process.
Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Gurbir Singh Kohli, PCS graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Kohli shared valuable insights and encouraged students to exercise their voting rights responsibly. Highlighting the event was a skit prepared by students, showcasing the electoral process and emphasizing the role of informed voting in shaping the nation's future. Vishvaas Ved, a student from the School of Law, delivered an insightful address, inspiring his peers to become conscientious voters.
Speaking about the event, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Abhishek Tripathi expressed gratitude to all participants and emphasized the university's commitment to nurturing responsible citizens.
